Flow, 2021

Flow is the first series of works completed in my new studio at Port Waikato. This group of paintings really engages with place, influenced by the elements, the light and air that constantly shifts around, the earth and sand, the eco-system of natives and exotics that surround me on the sand-dunes. My studio and house backs right onto the DOC land, a vast sand-dune area that goes to the Waikato River on one side and the Tasman sea on the other.
